Emerson Farina is a musician of over 15 years located in Golden, Colorado. Emerson is a student at the Metropolitan State University of Denver studying to receive a bachelor's degree in Acoustic Studies. Emerson was formally the principle oboist at the Col orado School of Mines symphony and second chair Bassoonist of the Metropolitan State University of Denver symphony. Besides classical music, Emerson has a strong history in multiple other genres such as jazz, mariachi, rock, bluegrass, and electronic music . One of the philosophies Emerson believes is that learning how music works and learning to write music of your own is one of the best ways to learn music. Throughout his years of teaching, Emerson has learned to cater to each student's specific instrest i n music while also helping them improve not just their performance in their desired instrument but understanding of music as well.
