John Anthony Martinez FRSA is an acclaimed drummer, educator, and AI strategist with over 30 years of experience bridging music, technology, and education. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and Oxford University, John has recorded and performed with industry legends, including Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Dolby, T.G. Sheppard, Bruce Faulconer (Dragon Ball Z), Tanya Tucker, Neal McCoy, Linda Davis, Bernard Wright, Larry Blackmon, Ronnie Laws, Tom Browne, Wesley Pruitt, Xenovibes, Dennis Edwards & the Temptations, Andy Timmons, Bobby Sparks, and Philip Lassiter, among many others. He has been a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Band since 2009. As co-founder of Rhythm Intensive with bassist Dr. Chuck Rainey, John delivers transformative music education globally, having taught masterclasses, workshops, and seminars at Oxford University, Singapore Polytechnic, the Academy of Contemporary Music in London, the Collective School of Music in New York City, Singapore Polytechnic, Ashridge - Hult International Business School, Dallas City Hall, GM Financial Group, 9 Beats, and the International Leadership of Texas, among others. His innovative work includes co-authoring The Tune of Success: Unmask Your Genius and creating Digital DJ, a groundbreaking curriculum merging music with computer coding. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and sponsored by Noble & Cooley Drums and Sabian Cymbals. John is passionate about empowering musicians through technology and mentorship.
