Reece Cogswell

Reece Cogswell is a jazz drummer whose music communicates an appreciation for life and the importance of thinking of others before yourself. He came out of the Denver jazz scene, absorbing wisdom from mentors such as Shane Endsley and Greg Gizbert. Over the past three years he has developed a love for pedagogy and sharing musical knowledge especially with young kids. Currently he is studying under Matt Wilson at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Reece has performed at events such as the Essentially Ellington competition and Denver’s Five Points Jazz Festival. Whether it’s teaching, performing, or listening, Reece is fulfilled and engaged with all aspects of the art form.
