Spencer Adamson

Piano

Spencer Adamson is a piano teacher who hails from north Texas. He began his musical education at the age of four after begging his parents for piano lessons. Growing up with a classical music background, he entered piano competitions throughout his teenage years After graduating high school, he attended the University of North Texas and majored in Classical Piano Performance.

Spencer has spent the last 16 years performing professionally with independent bands as well as with a record label-backed artists. He lived in Chicago for four and a half years and worked as a hired pianist and studio session artist playing blues, r&b, folk, and country music. He has toured nationally with several artists, has performed overseas, and currently performs in and around Colorado with his current band, The Regular.

Spencer teaches both classical and contemporary music and works with beginner through advanced students providing them with a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and improvisation. With this approach, he aims to foster creativity and the ability to perform in multiple styles.
